I'm on the fence about whether or not to view "Dawn of Justice" in the theaters, so I've been watching the trailers to help make up mind. I still don't know how to feel about it with one exception - I know that Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor is a galactically poor choice. I know, I know...after Heath Ledger, we're all supposed to reserve judgement until we actually watch the film. Too bad. I already know that casting is absurd.
So I put that idea in Inimitable Man's mouth, which is probably unfair to him. Too bad once again! I'm writing the script, so he's stuck saying what I want him to say.
When I first looked at this strip on my phone, the last panel where Colugo saws on IM's arm looks pretty static. Looking at it on my PC changes everything, because the blurring effect on Colugo's arm really stands out. Did it work you? I think it turned out quite well. Mike always seems to have another trick in that artistic bag!

I've been wanting to do a strip with these two in it for a while now. In fact, on December 27th, I was at a restaurant drawing comics with some good buddies and I scribbled down this sketch for a warm-up.
In my mind, these two are already established friends in Superpub continuity. And not begrudging allies...FRIENDS. Of course they are.
The arm blurring effect is something I wasn't sure about after I put it in there. I'm glad Ryan likes it. I hope you, dear reader, do as well.
