Ryan Lee Blu Ray Commentary
When I first sat down to write this, I had something far more heart-tugging and sweet in mind. There were two problems with this approach. One, I couldn’t squeeze the bit into anything less than six panels, which is too clunky and too much work for Mike. Secondly, it involved Colugo being unabashedly nice to Wren, which is no fun at all! I like this way better.
It’s been a wonderful first year of Superpub in my biased opinion. Mike has really put the yoke on and pushed through a lot of obstacles to produce a lovely and ever-improving strip. We’re seeing a lot of names “liking” the strip that weren’t around for Chronic Insomnia or Where Monsters Dwell, which means Superpub is building its own little family. This is gratifying and greatly appreciated.
This Christmas season, I invite you to be nice and enjoy yourself. Don’t ruin Star Wars for people. Avoid punching children in the face, especially when they deserve it. Drive your vehicle like a human, not a syphilitic orangutan. Also, start drinking more. I think if we can all abide by these rules, the yuletide will indeed be bright.

I am exhausted as I type this, so it’s going to be short and sweet for me.
This has been a great year of making comics with Ryan Lee. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to commit and keep to a schedule. I thank Ryan Lee for continuing to work with me on this. I thank all of you who dial in each week to check out what our heroes are up to in Superpub.
We’ll be taking a bit of a hiatus over Christmas and New Years but we’ll be back to a (hopefully) weekly schedule some time in January.
