I like the idea of a recurring bit, like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown over and over again. Maybe ongoing bits are actually a tedious crutch…we’re still figuring all this comic strip stuff out. (although we are coming up on a year anniversary, which is fun) Long story longer, this is not the first time we’ve seen the Inimitable Man smash Dreadfool in the face, and it might not be the last.

When you think about it, though, this exactly the stuff Superpub was born to do. Deadpool and Superman are diametrically opposed characters. I suppose a clever person would try and flip that and have them find some common ground. I prefer to just have Inimitable Man pound Dreadfool until his parts start falling off. But those characters never get the chance to interact outside of the pan-dimensional magic of Superpub.

Deadpool is my least favourite character in all of comics. I really like Dreadfool, though.

Not a lot to say about this one. Sometimes you just want to super-punch a loudmouth idiot. It’s escapism.

Also: that Inimitable Man action figure is a repaint of a classic Masters of the Universe doll. Did any eagle eyes pick that up?
